AinA (Amputees in Action Ltd) are an agency that specialise in supplying amputees as extras and specialist action scene extras for the film and television industries both home and abroad. Our artistes collectively have many years experience of not only specialist action scene extra work, but also as film and television "extras". For a description of the kind of work we do, and have done in the past, please refer to the page titled Our Projects. AinA was the first agency to promote the utilisation of amputees (amputee casualty simulation), with real acting skills, to put the ‘shock factor’ into simulations designed for all aspects of medical training, which, in reality, has saved lives. Our bespoke service is second to none and is proven to enhance training. For the first time in April 2007, AinA inserted their first two females amongst casualties in a major simulated incident. The result was resounding, giving breadth to the services we can offer as Specialists in Amputee Casualty Simulations.
